Turn a transaction export into a recode worklist

Review by merchant, then apply your decisions in QuickBooks Online. Recodeline groups the client's transactions by merchant and proposes an account from the client's own history. You approve, change or ask the client about each group, then download a Reclassify worklist, bank rules to create and a list of questions for the client.

Before you upload

No ledger connection. You apply changes yourself, in QuickBooks Online.
Files are processed in memory and never written to disk.
A project and everything in it are deleted 24 hours after it is created: the uploaded files, the groups and your decisions. A server restart deletes them sooner.
The logs record event names, counts, request metadata and the first characters of a project id, never transaction text, amounts or file names.
We never ask for the client's name.
AI suggestions are not active. A later version may send an AI model the first six words other than numbers that the bank printed for the other party (who was paid, or who paid you), with numbers removed and cut at the first label such as NAME, FROM or TO or at a colon; whether money went in or out; and the client's account names without numbers or month names, to suggest an account. Never amounts or dates.

Export the Transaction List by Date from QuickBooks Online, plus the Account List if you have it.
Review the merchant groups. Approve the proposal, change the account, or mark the group to ask the client. Flagged groups come first.
Download the worklist and apply it in QuickBooks Online with Reclassify, one target account at a time.
